Post Void¶
In the event the need arises to cancel an already completed transaction, the cashier can perform a Post Void that will void the transaction in question.
Concepts¶
- A transaction can only be post voided on the same day it was originally completed.
- All payments (partial and complete) will be rolled back and voided as well.
- Inventory counts will be adjusted accordingly.
- Authorization to perform a post void is set by role based security.
- All transactions can be post voided including pay in/out and Cash Up/Downs.
Functionality¶
In order to post void a transaction, the transaction needs to be selected in the Transaction Search screen.
