Tendering

Jumpmind Commerce is completely configurable with regards to the tenders your company is willing to accept. Also works to maintain industry standards and enforce your company policies with regards to offline payments, gift cards, returns, etc.

Types of Tender

  • Credit / Debit (Specific credit and debit cards accepted in alignment what is supported with the payment processor.)

  • Merchant Credit

    Q - Would there be any setting of an offline floor limit in Jumpmind? Or, is this done on processor or pinpad setting?

    Q - If there is an IVR option, could the instructions be provided in POS Sell screen.

    Q - When offline, alert/message some way that debit and giftcards would be unavailable.

Credit / Debit Details

  • Jumpmind Commerce is currently certified for EMV credit and debit with NCR, Ayden and Aurus payment solutions.
  • System allows the use of contactless payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, etc.)
  • System also supports the use of QR code based payments (Paypal, Venmo, etc.)
  • System supports the tokenization of both credit and debit.
  • The system configuration and tokenization keeps the register out of PCI scope.
  • System supports the collection and storage of customer signature from browser and pinpad.
  • Credit and debit cards can be inserted, swiped or manually entered.
  • System provides ability to capture and record information to comply with EMV requirements.

Rules

Configurations can be applied to all of the following:

  • Multiple tenders on same transaction
  • Limits
  • Prompt with amount if card does not cover the transaction total
  • Disallow purchase of Gift Card with a Gift Card
  • Non Receipted Return Types

  • Receipted Return Types

  • Partial Authorization

  • In transaction reversals

  • Ability to allow for tender to be configured based on product type.
